american accents are so ugly

don't you think? i'm always struck by that after a trip abroad, returning to an american airport. i'm pretty sure i've had my last bit of aussie manners as two gentlemen offered to help me with my carryon bag, which was definitely pushing the 7kg limit. i'll miss it!
