royally screwed up the ass

i threw $500 away today. what was supposed to be my tropical vacation ended in my spending 11 hours in transit and losing a lot of money i don't really have. i found out after leg 1 of my trip that the connecting flight was cancelled due to the weather. i saw the forecast and knew it looked rather shit all week, but i never thought the flight would be cancelled. i had the option of flying to 2 rather undesireable locations, or to stay in brisbane, or to come back to melbourne. the weather in qld is shit everywhere this week and i don't like brisbane, so here i am in melbourne again after a pointless, retarded trip to brisbane. fuck-ing hell.
