escape from suburbia

so i spent the long weekend at my parents' place. i did not go outside from wednesday night to tonight. pretty impressive, no? i do a total 180 and become a complete hermit in the suburbs. there was tons of good food to be eaten, magazines to be read, and dvds to be watched. instead of going to a scintillating li bar last night, i got wasted on about 5 bottles (or more, can't remember) of wine with my old man and a few of his friends. it was good times! we pretty much did a french red wine tasting. of course some boredom set in, and by this afternoon i found myself engrossed in 'the devil wears prada.' not sure how that happened, but i'm going to finish it off now.
