so it is normal practice here to charge for drinks at art openings. lame!

i've been, by and large, unimpressed with brunch offerings as well. there is one good place near me that uses super fresh ingredients. the mushroom omelette is very yummy, but it's a $16 omelette. other than that, there is little variation. eggs, baked beans, spinach, cooked tomatoes, mushrooms. totally uninspired stuff. yawwwwn.
