holy crap

i just found out a guy from my ny msgboard died in a biking accident a few days ago. i didn't know him really, just crushed from afar. he was really well-loved and i'm kind of shell-shocked. is crying over someone you didn't really know weird? maybe i won't get a bike in brooklyn. or maybe i will get a rad helmet. the police report is totally fishy. just another biker death right?
