the rapture fucking rocked it last night. i am now very excited for their next album to come out. they managed to tip the balance in favor of a good night.. just slightly. see, before them i had the very worst musical experience of my life. the gil mantera party dream. bar none, the worst band i have ever seen. not only the awful music, but the singer was totally obnoxious. i wanted to claw my head off. i went to the stage to see what the fuck was going on, and then i wanted to claw my eyes out. a little sampling of the grossness:
