now here's a pick-up line for you

at a party last night, a guy comes up to me and hands me an american apparel clothing tag and says, "you have a free ticket to paradise."

i didn't quite know what to do, so i just stood there laughing with my friends and half-heartedly reached for the tag. it fell and i kind of shrugged, and he picked it up and said, "any excuse to look up your skirt."

how's that for bold! too bad he wasn't cute at all.

after much effort tonight, i am the proud owner of



much more complicated assembly than ikea. too bad i didn't realize there were instructional videos on the site until i was nearly done!
